Frequently asked questions

  • What does Claimel do?
We specialize in maximizing car insurance settlements, especially for total loss claims. We negotiate directly with your insurer so you get the payout you actually deserve.

  • Do you work for the insurance company?
No. We’re fully independent and only work for you, the policyholder.

  • When should I contact Claimel?
As early as possible! Whether you’ve already filed a claim or not, the sooner we’re involved, the better the outcome.

  • Can you help after I’ve already accepted the offer?
Usually not. We need to be involved before you agree to the insurer’s settlement.

  • What if I’ve already filed my claim?
That’s totally fine. We can still jump in and negotiate on your behalf.

  • How much does Claimel charge?
We only take a small share of the increased amount we help secure. If we don’t get you a better offer, you pay nothing.

  • When do I pay Claimel?
After you receive your payout from the insurer, we invoice you for our share of the additional amount.

  • Is my information safe with you?
Absolutely. We never share your information with third parties and comply with all Canadian privacy laws.

  • How will you communicate with me?
You choose — we can keep you updated by email, text, or phone calls.
